Paloma Madrid works with choreography and movement. Paloma is bussy with her practice called the “poetical radical body investigation”. Proposing the body as a medium in constant change, a knowledge-producer and a spiritual transformer. Paloma is a pioneer, and started with the use of community dance in Sweden. Madrid works are constantly exploring the intersection between collaborative art and social choreography. Her choreographic processes constantly research and explore movement in relationship to body, context, political categorizations, power and her own life experience. They also explore the limits and the resistance of the dancers body and the non-dancers body in relation to and the meeting her artistic practice. Palomas work is always searching for possibilities of the mind and body to re-think the way of dance and choreography.
